The Annexation of settlements, first with the Jordan Valley

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that if he is reelected then he will start his campaign to annex the Israeli settlements of Judea and Samaria starting with the Jordan Valley. He will be part of a plan that coincides with President Trump's Middle East peace plan policy. Using it as a campaign promise, he has stated that if he does not win his reelection then the other candidates will not be able to implement this annexation plan of the Jordan Valley and that this moment is an "historic opportunity that we may not have again." Netanyahu also believes that he has the full support of the United States for this annexation plan. On the other hand he has also received some backlash when he announced this Jordan Valley annexation plan. Former Ministers have criticized him for being late with the plan stating that he has had so much time to do this plan of action, and also stating that he is using it to win votes and it is an empty promise. The Palestinian Authority Prime Minister has also been very critical of this plan.

    Gantz and Netanyahu are neck and neck. It looks like the Israeli Election is going to be contested by both men--a repeat from April. Neither are good.

Benjamin Netanyahu was scheduled to speak at the United Nations General Assembly, but cancelled his trip to the United Nations due to the inconclusive elections that the state of Israel was holding. Netanyahu was scheduled to be the 12th speaker, three slots after the President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas. Not only was he scheduled to speak at the United Nations General Assembly but he also had planned to speak with President Trump, President Trump had tweeted that he would meet with the Israeli Prime Minister during the his stay in New York. In regards of the election, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin will receive the election results and he will have to pick between the two candidates on who will form the next government after the elections. Israeli Governmental Crisis

Prime Minster Netanyahu has failed to create a unitary Government with Mr Gantz, of the Blue and White Party, and which will lead Israel go for a third election. Prime Netanyahu was also indicted with corruption on Thursday which are long waited charges that are being held against Netanyahu. Mr Gantz had note the Israeli President Rivlin that he will be giving back the mandate to form a new Government with Netanyahu and Gantz soon went on national television to attack Netanyahu for trying to maintain his "ultra-religious" and right wing bloc in the Knesset. If Israel is to go through with the third election it would cost Israel $750 million which is a third of the budget deficit and it would further the economic loss since it would have to give everyone a day off in Israel. Stop arms sales to genocidal regimes

At a gathering Israeli Blue and White party leader Gantz was giving a speech in which he stated that the State of Israel should not be dealing with racist regimes and also should stop the sell of arms with genocidal regimes. Gantz has stated that the State of Israel is a moral country and a moral people that should not be legitimizing racist or genocidal regimes. It was not clear who he was specifically talking about but Prime Minister Netanyahu has been accused to doing dealings with government leaders such as Bolsonaro from Brazil, Duterte from the Philippines, and Prime Minister Viktor Orban from Hungary who all of those leaders have not had good political track records. Gantz also emphasized that Israel should not be selling arms to genocidal governments, Israel has been accused of selling arms to genocidal governments such as the 1994 Rwanda genocide and giving military services to the apartheid government in South Africa.
