Protecting the Kurds

President Trump has stated that the United States has never agreed to protect the Kurds. The Kurds are an ethnic group that live in the norther part of Iraq, also near Syria, and they were heavily persecuted under Assad's government and also the United States to eradicate ISIS. Trump has also said that the United States has a really good relationship. The controversy is that many people who do not agree with the withdrawal of troops, think that the United States is leaving the Kurds under the mercy of the Turkish army. According to the President there is actually 28 troops, not 50, which the President believes that the armies surrounding the region would have wiped out those troops. Instead, he will be putting troops close to Jordan and near Israel for securing oil. Trump also questioned where did such an agreement come from to make the United States stay in the Middle East.
